  • Conophytum quaesitum (N.E.Br.) N.E.Br.: has obovoid bodies with gapping lobes, pale-green unspotted or faintly spotted with green or maroon spots. Flowers white to cream or pinkish. Distribution: northern Cape Province, Southern Namibia
  • Conophytum quaesitum subs. densipunctum (L. Bolus) S.A.Hammer: has a more robust nature with a pale yellowish green bodies, always densely spotted epidermis and by its even keel. Flowers creamy-white. Distributin: Southern Namibia.
  • Conophytum quaesitum var. rostratum (Tischer) S.A.Hammer: has bodies with keeled apices, lobes long to rather short and beak-like. Distribution: northern Cape Province, Southern Namibia.
