Subspecies, varieties, forms and cultivars of plants belonging to the Echinopsis abnormal growing form and mutant group

• Echinopsis cv. Chocolate: It forms large low clusters of soft rubbery textured red-chocholate crested stems, only a few centimeters across and plant looks more like some non-cactus succulent than a cactus.
• Echinopsis cv. Green Pepperoni Cactus: Clustering cactus with upright sections that branches at the base. The stem has only a few areoles and spines in the basal portion, the upper part of the is bright green, cylindrical, smooth and resemble a green pepperoni.
• Echinopsis cv. Green Pepperoni Cactus f. cristata
• Echinopsis cv. Haku-jo Maru: has a very peculiar rib shape. The most striking feature are the woolly areoles on the ribs that have a felty line between them so it seems like the areoles are connected with each other.
• Echinopsis cv. Haku-jo Maru f. cristata: crested form. The areoles on the ribs are connected by a felty line between them.
• Echinopsis cv. Haku-jo Maru f. cristata monstruosa: crested and monstrous form. Ribs unstructured and almost indistinguibile with areoles connected by brownish felty zones between them.
